TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act) is the US law governing commercial SMS. Key requirements: written prior express consent required for marketing SMS, quiet hours (8AM-9PM recipient local time), functional STOP opt-out within 10 business days, 10DLC registration for long code campaigns since February 2025, and SHAFT content restrictions. BulkSMSHub automates all TCPA compliance requirements.
DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) is India's TRAI-mandated SMS compliance system. All commercial SMS senders must register their entity, sender IDs (headers) and message templates on the DLT platform. Unregistered messages are blocked by Indian carriers. BulkSMSHub manages the complete DLT registration process for customers sending to India.
10DLC (10-digit long code) is the US A2P SMS registration system mandated by the major US carriers since February 2025. All A2P SMS to US numbers must use 10DLC-registered long codes - unregistered numbers are blocked by AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon. BulkSMSHub handles complete 10DLC registration including brand registration and TCR campaign registration.

Yes. You can upgrade your plan at any time and the change takes effect immediately with prorated billing for the remainder of the current period. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period. Unused credits from the current period are not carried forward on downgrades.

BulkSMSHub's API supports up to 500 messages per second (MPS) for standard long code routes and up to 1,000 MPS for short code routes. Enterprise customers can request higher throughput limits. Batch sending via the /bulk endpoint allows sending up to 50,000 messages per API call.
Yes. BulkSMSHub supports webhooks for delivery reports (delivered, failed, pending), incoming message notifications (for two-way SMS), opt-out events and campaign completion events. Webhooks are configured per account in the dashboard and support HMAC signature verification for security.
Yes. BulkSMSHub supports contact import via CSV, Excel (XLSX) and vCard formats. The CSV importer supports custom field mapping, duplicate detection and automatic phone number formatting (E.164 standardisation). Contact lists can also be synced from CRM systems via the API or native integrations.
A single SMS is 160 characters for standard GSM-7 encoding or 70 characters for Unicode (Arabic, Chinese, Hindi etc). BulkSMSHub supports concatenated (long) SMS up to 1,520 characters (10 message parts). Longer messages are split and reassembled by the recipient's device. URLs can be shortened with BulkSMSHub's built-in link shortener.
Yes. BulkSMSHub provides Home Location Register (HLR) lookup to verify if a mobile number is active, identify the carrier and country, and check ported numbers before sending. This reduces costs by filtering inactive numbers before campaign sends. HLR lookup is priced per query.

On account cancellation, BulkSMSHub retains your data for 30 days during which you can request a full data export (contacts, campaign history, reports) in CSV or JSON format. After 30 days, all personal data is permanently deleted from our systems unless retention is required by applicable law. This complies with GDPR Article 17 (right to erasure).
Yes. BulkSMSHub provides a 99.9% platform uptime SLA per calendar month (excluding scheduled maintenance). If uptime falls below 99.9%, eligible customers may claim service credits: below 99% = 10% credit, below 95% = 25% credit, below 90% = 50% credit.
